An approach to insurrection

Inspiration just struck me. It was rather heavily, and in the back of the head, so I can't account for the quality of my poem.

An approach to insurrection

To avoid revolution
Takes a strong constitution
Do you think, good sir, to achieve it?

King, to risk being smarmy
In regards to their army
I’ll tell them, most kindly, to sleeve it

It gives me satisfaction
that their faction’s a fraction
Of our troubles in this current age and day

The economy will bother me
Even greater, gastronomy
So I won’t leave my supper to attend to the fray

Home Alone IV: An Epilogue

So my family is back. I've learned a few lessons from them.

--The daisies on the dining room table have died. I hadn't noticed. I guess they need fresh water ever so often. Or should have been moved after they kicked the farm.

--Lettuce goes bad if you freeze it and then thaw it out. I did that while trying to keep it crispy. This is interesting to know, but I'm not sure how I can apply it to my life. ... Well, actually, I suppose I could try not to put lettuce in freezers.

--The rest of the family doesn't want to have any of the sherbet if there's only a half of a bowl left.

Munchies

Aw, no good. You've got my munchies all milk-logged. I can't even call them 'munchies' anymore. They don't munch. They're sloppys. Do you want a sloppy? Yeah, me neither. Pass the milk.

All I Want for Christmas is... is...

I can't think of anything I want for Christmas.

This always happens to me about this time. I have the same problem with Birthdays. I just don't really want anything that I don't already have, or that I can't get easily, or that is tangible (I could use some more time, or maybe improvements on my character).

At least when I was little, I could just circle half of the sets in the Lego catalog. Wait, I know... there's always food. But then again, I get that on Thanksgiving...
